Ronald A. Troy, President
Ron founded KTLindustries in 1983 in the Dallas / Fort Worth metropolitan area. Ron recognized an opportunity to utilize his operational experience and financial knowledge to help small to mid-sized growth companies achieve their corporate finance and strategic goals. He has successfully participated in more than 200 middle market M&A transactions totaling in excess of $2.5 billion. Prior to founding KTLindustries in 1983, he had a successful six year career with Baxter-Travenol Laboratories and Motorola in various operational and financial positions.

Ron received a B.A. in Pre-law from Marquette University and a M.B.A in Finance and Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago. He actively serves on various community boards and the board of select privately held companies. Prior to relocating to Memphis in 2003 Ron was an active board member/participant in the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth.

Ron enjoys sailing, flying, scuba diving and spending time with his wife and two daughters at their home in Memphis , TN.

John Bessone, Vice President
John joined KTLindustries in April 2004 and brings over 18 years of private investment banking experience to the company. Prior to entering the Investment Banking business John was an Emmy Award Winning Producer/Director with ABC Sports in New York. He specializes in middle market merger and acquisition transactions. John has initiated, negotiated and closed transactions with market values ranging from $8 million to $130 million. He is responsible for generating and initiating transactions for KTLindustries.

John is a graduate of Williams College and serves on several alumni and community boards. He enjoys sports and playing and coaching hockey. John and his wife have two children and reside in Santa Fe, NM.
